The end. Since yesterday, this photo is now part of history. This beautiful consist, that was one of the main attractions of the Allgäubahn in the past years, has been replaced by SBB RABe 503 (ETR 610 - new pendolinos) EMUs. In the photo we see two BR 218 diesel locomotives with the EuroCity 191 Basel - Zürich - München passing by the beautiful spot of Oberthalhofen. These trains will now obviously take another (fully electric) route, and they will not need to change direction at Lindau anymore.
