DB 218 430-7 (DB BR 218)

Due to ongoing electrification work on the direct line from Hergatz to Buchloe, the Eurocities from Zürich to München run currently diesel-hauled on the Bayrische Allgäubahn. This comes finally to an end by mid december. But ongoing trackwork interrupts the service since last weekend upt to mid september, so this is definitely a last chance picture: Eurocity EC 190 hauled by BR 218 430-7 has just left Oberstaufen and passes now the lovely landscape of the Allgäu on a beautiful summer eveneing. When the Eurocities run again in mid september this photo will no longer be possible to take as the train runs in darkness ath this place
