SNCF 25613 (SNCF BB25500)

Cohabitation between France and Germany.... Strasbourg is the biggest city in Alsace, and has been strongly marked by History. The city which was French til sixteenth century, was annexed by Germany in 1870, then came back to France in 1918, and stood french til nowadays, except during world war II when it was taken by german army. This particular location gives to the city an important role concerning trains. Indeed, international trains usually pass here, just like this ICE going from Paris to Frankfurt Am Main, staying on track 1. It is also there that Br181 (used to) replace french locomotives at the head of eurocities or euronight trains.
On track 2, BB25615, is waiting the signal of departure with a local train TER. The loco wears Bleu - White - Red colors which symbolizes France and especially Paris, since the locomotive was initially dedicated to push/pull parisian suburban trains.
