SAD 12 (SAD END)

On the Ritten - a pleateau above the italian twon of Bozen/Bolzano - a metric gauge railway runs from Oberbozen to Klobenstein. The initially rack railway part from Bozen to Oberbozen is long gone and replaced by a cable car, but the preserved part is in a good shape and runs twice every hour. Most of the times former swiss articulated cars are used. Occasionally older stock is used in off peak hours or when the cable car has a maintenance window. On such a date the #12 - a former tramway from German town of Esslingen - was used on the line. It reaches shortly the final station of Klobenstein.
