VHE 102 (VHE Be4_4)

The line from Sumiswald-Grünen to Huttwil - deep in the Emmental - was mothballed some years ago from regular service. Nowadays occasionally some historic trains run on the line. Today was such a day. Here we see EBT Be 4/4 102 (built in the 1930ies and during here active time a regular catch on this line) with a beautiful and adequate train passing some farm houses at Gammenthal. The locomotive was built for the EBT, belongs nowadays to the BLS but is operated by the Verein Historische Eisenbahn located in Huttwil.
