Renfe 592.238 (Renfe 592)

The line from Lleida to La Pobla de Segur - planned to be an international transit line and once served by huge steam engines - was treat poorly the last years through RENFE. A single S592 DMU was used to run some few services on the line. The line runs through some quite rugghed areas and gives some spectacular views. Here S592.238 runs down to Lleida and passes a bridge over a extension of the Embassament de Sant Antoni near Salàs de Pallars.
Today the line is taken over by the FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) and is served by newly built GTW DMU's with more services than before.
