FLP 23 (FLP Be412)

The only remaining of once three Lugano based narrow gauge railways is the FLP which connects Lugano to Ponte Tresa. Nowadays the line is an important link in the agglomeration of Lugano. A modernization program is planed which will not only replace the 1970ies built "Mandaraindli" EMU's, but will also replace a part of the line through a new tunnel allowing the FLP to enter the cities core. But today the Mandarindli still run the line all 15min. Here Be 4/12 23 is running towards Agno along the shore of Lago di Lugano.
