Regional train Rome-Sulmona with "Media Distanza" carriages hauled by a symmetrical double traction of E464 climbs down the steep descent which from the peak of Cocullo will lead it to the Peligna Valley. Note the original poles dating back to 1929, the year of industrial frequency three-phase electrification, which remained only between Aversa and Prezza. On the left, the Palazzo viaduct of the A25 Rome-Pescara motorway.
