Between Saint-Gervais-les-Bains and the border to Switzerland at Vallorcine the French state railway SNCF operates a narrow gauge line often reffered to Chemin de fer du Mont Blanc - The Mont Blanc Express. After a steep ascent the train crosses the river Arve at Lex Houches on the Viaduc Ste-Maire. Two Z850 trainsets are seen here as TER 18914 heading towards the terminus Saint-Gervais-les-Bains.
