Renfe 251.004 (Renfe 251)

On tuesday last week, a friend told me that the 251.004 locomotive (the only 251 still in its original blue and yellow livery) had gone from Avilés to León with a wood-loaded train. Knowing this, it was possible that they would send her back the next day with one of the northbound empty coil trains early in the morning, so I went to the Pajares pass hoping to spot her. I arrived to la Recta los Llanos (2 kilometres after Navidiello station) and after 30 minutes in this place I heard a 251 far away. Luckily, it was her with one of the empty trains. After 5 minutes more, I saw her coming out of tunnel 41, still with some snow around. Then, on thursday it started snowing again and right now this place has a lot more snow than in the picture.
