CP 1438 (CP 1400)

On a sunny afternoon in Granjao, I started to get worried as I was waiting for the IR 876 Pocinho-Porto, the last train of the day for me before returning to the hotel. Something was wrong, and it was already running 50 minutes late as the sun was starting to hide behind me. But in that moment, I heard a 1400 engine up in Caldas de Moledo, and things improved a lot. The second 1400 in this photo had problems, and in Régua they added the one in front (1438) to assure that the train arrived to Porto without any more problems. The sun hid 5 minutes after the photo, so in the end everything worked out perfectly.
