One of the locomotives used by the private operator "Baltijas Tranzita Serviss" (company part of the group that manages operations in the port of Riga) is this 2TE116 originally from 1984, in charge of driving a long train of tanks for fuel transportation right to the Latvian capital, shown here passing on the long straight uphill between the stations of Alotene and Koknese.
